We discovered an unfinished budget hotel on one of the prettiest one-block streets in San Miguel, where the owner, lacking the funds to complete the project, was in desperate need of a capital and operational partner. We renovated the rooms in a Tulum-inspired style, modernized the bathrooms, and added key amenities like high-speed Wi-Fi, in-room workspaces, and smart storage with natural wood accents. Additionally, we enlisted a local chef to operate a ground-level restaurant featuring seasonal dishes. The resulting Hotel Del Pueblito is now a youthful, boho-chic retreat in a central location just four blocks from the Parroquia, offering a tranquil experience with rooftop views and a charming, bougainvillea-lined street that appeals to local and international travelers alike.
